This is a simple place that serves good food at very reasonable prices. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The tortas were great. They don't list any vegetarian options on the menu, but happily accommodated a vegetarian's request for a modified dish that was then vegetarian. Being able to explain what you want on it in Spanish helps, if you are a tourist.

This small restaurant was perfect to grab a quick cheap and cheerful breakfast of tacos, quesadillas, eggs or tortas. As we approached we could already see many locals sitting inside so we had a good feeling even before we sat down that the food would be tasty. Knowing a little bit of Spanish really helped when ordering and deciphering the menu as the staff didn’t speak any English, despite that they were still super patient and helpful. Portions are a good size and I love all the spicy condiments they give you on the side. In the end we only spent around a few euros (50MXN) each and left completely satisfied!
